Christine Brown revealed that was one of the moments that made her split from her 27-year-old husband kody was when he told her in an interview that he wasn’t attracted to her Reality Life with Kate Casey podcastpublished on Friday 2 December. the sister wives Star, 50, opened up about the struggles she and Kody, 53, had leading up to their divorce.
Kate Casey Christine asked how it was when she decided to leave Kody, and she said she decided to leave after hearing how her husband was feeling. “It was pretty tough at first when he said, ‘I wasn’t really attracted to you,'” she explained. “If this has been going on for so long, I’m done. It’s over. I won’t keep doing this and I won’t keep doing this. If you weren’t really attracted to me, and if you really didn’t want a relationship with me, and if you didn’t really want to spend time with me, it’s almost as if that burden was lifted from me.”
While the conversation was the moment the reality star realized it was “time to move on,” she said she and Kody took different approaches, like therapy, to try to fix their relationship troubles. She said that despite her best efforts, she realized she was better off on her own. “I gave 100 percent everything,” she said. “I was just starting to be more independent anyway, which has been pretty awesome. ”
Over a year after the split, Christine has opened up to new relationships since she and Kody broke up. When asked on the podcast, she didn’t directly say whether or not she met anyone, but she has admitted to going back there in previous interviews. She said that she “casually dated” in an interview with Us weekly in October. “I’m not in the mood for a serious relationship, so right now I’m only allowing one or two dates per person,” she said.
Christine was married to Kody from 1994 to 2021 and they share six children. Kody remains married to his wives Janelle and Robyn. Christine also spoke on the podcast about how close she still is with Janelle, who she reunited with at the wedding of Janelle’s son Logan in October.
