Catherine Zeta-Jones is on the move! In addition to her role as Morticia Addams on Netflix’s Wednesday, the 53-year-old actress is starring in Disney+’s upcoming National Treasure: Edge of History, and she partied at the show’s premiere in LA on Monday night. Zeta-Jones brought her 22-year-old son, Dylan Michael Douglas, to the big night, although her husband Michael Douglas and daughter Carys Zeta Douglas weren’t there.
Zeta-Jones spoke to her on the red carpet persons about what a “good son” Dylan is. “I mean, every year it gets better and better and having such good friends, I think, in our family, which is great,” she said.
Similar to the film series, National Treasure: Edge of History follows 20-year-old Jess Valenzuela (Lisette Olivera) as she embarks on a journey to research her family history and recover a lost historical treasure. Speaking of her own stunts for the show, Zeta-Jones told People, “Certain stunts in movies and stuff, you have to do … unless you’re Tom Cruise and you really want to fly out of a plane.” She added, “I am not Tom and I admire him for everything he does. But for me it’s a wonderful career. These stunt people are amazing.” The series launches December 14 on Disney+.
