The DJI Avata is a drone with advanced safety features that gives even a novice pilot a breathtaking experience and gives everyone the freedom to experiment with creative aerial movements. Paired with DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Motion Controller, the DJI Avata looks and feels like it’s going with the wind. Whether you’re flying for fun, capturing great social media videos, or dazzling audiences in the studio, DJI Avata delivers an immersive flight experience.
410 gr weight, 18 minutes flight time…
Despite its small size, the DJI Avata includes industry-leading security technology pioneered by DJI that keeps the skies safe in the drone era. DJI Avata creates a new paradigm for ‘first-person’ vision (FPV) drone flight that allows every pilot to race in the sky and feel its amazing performance, agility and easy control. Together with the new DJI Goggles 2 and the intuitive DJI Motion Controller, DJI Avata offers a flight experience that has never been imagined before. DJI Avata opens up new creative avenues for beginners and professionals alike. Its unique and compact design transforms the chassis of a conventional drone into a body built for speed and agility, weighing only 410 grams and integrating aerodynamic propeller guards for added safety. Its powerful stabilized camera with 48 million effective pixels, 1/1.7” CMOS sensor offers premium imaging features such as 4K/60fps and 2.7K/50/60/100/120fps video, giving content creators a new tool for seamless premium shooting. With a flight time of up to 18 minutes, it offers a powerful and exciting journey on every flight.
The DJI Avata is designed to be paired with DJI Goggles 2, DJI’s latest flight control technology, and the DJI Motion Controller, which steers the drone according to the movement of your hand. Users can also control the drone with the existing DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 and DJI FPV Goggles V2. DJI’s unique flight technology means the DJI Avata can hover like a conventional drone, accelerate like a racer, facilitate tight-space flights and stop in a fraction of a second. If the DJI Avata is pushed beyond its limits and flips over, a new Turtle mod allows it to correct itself and take off again. Together, the DJI Avata’s flight control and stabilization technology make it the ultimate drone for entertainment while capturing crisp, professional-quality videos.
High Definition and Low Latency Transmission with DJI Goggles 2
DJI Goggles 2 is a next-generation flying goggle that offers a smaller, lighter and more comfortable fit with a crystal clear FPV image comparable to other DJI drones… DJI Goggles 2 has a clearer Micro-OLED display with adjustable diopters, so normally People who wear glasses do not need to use these glasses with glasses. When used with the DJI Motion Controller, the aircraft and gimbal camera can be freely controlled to meet shooting needs in various scenarios. The intuitive touch panel on the side of the glasses allows for easy one-handed control of their settings.
DJI Motion Controller, the reinvented controller…
The DJI Motion Controller is a completely reinvented flight controller that allows the pilot to precisely fly complex maneuvers based on the natural movements of a hand. The system is so intuitive that even beginners can get started quickly and learn to fly with continuous fluid movements even when gliding close to the ground, quickly crossing obstacles and gliding from tight to open spaces.
Upgraded 4K Imaging System with Super Stabilization
The DJI Avata has an outstanding imaging system that puts it ahead of any FPV racing drone, including a 1/1.7-inch 48MP CMOS sensor with f/2.8 aperture and an ultra-wide-angle lens with up to 155° angle of view. The wider field of view captures immersive aerial photography and videography up to 4k/60fps, as well as slow motion at 2.7K/100fps. Equipped with the D-Cinelike color mode, DJI Avata provides a wide color palette that provides detailed chromatic adjustments to your work.
Even during high-pressure air maneuvers, DJI Avata keeps video sharp and stable with two top-of-the-line stabilization technologies. DJI RockSteady eliminates overall image shake and DJI HorizonSteady ensures that the image is oriented towards the true level. All this data is saved in 20GB of internal storage, providing extra freedom and originality when a creative shooting opportunity arises, even without a microSD card inserted.
Chances of risk decrease
DJI Avata’s built-in propeller guards make the hull more durable and greatly reduce the likelihood of risk. With its structure that can withstand minor collisions, and even after a somersault in Turtle mode, it allows for safer self-flying. All flight modes have a special Emergency Brake and Hover feature that stops the drone and hovers in place at any time during flight. Failsafe Return Home automatically returns the drone to its takeoff point with the push of a button or if transmission is lost or the battery reaches a critically low level.
DJI Avata uses DJI’s GEO 2.0 geofencing system to advise pilots on airspace restrictions and potential hazards, and to automatically prevent drones from flying near certain high-risk locations, such as airports. The DJI Avata also features DJI’s AirSense ADS-B receiver system to alert drone pilots when there are airplanes or helicopters nearby, and broadcasts DJI’s AeroScope signal to help authorities track drones in the air in sensitive locations.
An Immersive Flight Experience for All Skill Levels…
DJI Avata allows pilots, from beginners to professionals, to choose between 3 flight modes, Normal (N) Mode, Manual (M) Mode (only with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2), Sport (S) Mode, according to their skill level. DJI Avata is controlled by the DJI Fly app, which includes detailed tutorials on how to operate the drone.
