Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani brought their love into 2022 Christmas at Rockefeller Center Event on November 30th. The couple, who wed in July 2021, performed their Christmas duet You Make It Feel Like Christmas at the annual tree lighting event. They looked so in love while serenading each other at Rockefeller Center for the Christmas special. Gwen was stunning in a strapless green gown for the performance.
The song was the couple’s second collaboration, having been released back in 2017, but it has continued to be a staple of the holiday season for years to come. Meanwhile, Gwen was on stage three times Christmas at Rockefeller Center, as she also did solo performances of other holiday hits. Considering Gwen released an entire Christmas album in 2017, she’s no stranger to making the rounds at pre-Christmas events every year.
The 2022 Christmas at Rockefeller center also featured performances by stars such as Dan + Shay, Andrea Bocelli, Brett Eldredge, Alicia Keys and more. There was also a special appearance by Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolphand the Radio City Rockettes. TODAY show stars Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin moderated the event. In addition to the performances, Rockefeller Center’s giant Christmas tree was lit up with more than 50,000 LED lights for the first time this holiday season.
This is Blake and Gwen’s eighth Christmas as a couple. They got together on the set of The voice in 2015 following their respective divorces earlier in the year. Blake proposed five years on their relationship in October 2020, and they wed in an intimate wedding less than nine months later.
Blake and Gwen are both currently trainers on the 22nd season of The voice. It will be Blake’s final season as coach, having sat in his red chair since the series’ opening episode. Gwen has appeared as a coach on and off over the years, with season 22 being her sixth time. Blake has won the show a total of eight times while Gwen has won once.
