Amazon’s The young spin off Gen V has unveiled a first teaser trailer and it’s as messy as you can imagine.
The above first look, unveiled Saturday at CCXP in Sao Paolo, Brazil, introduces America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (operated by Vought International).
The series “explores the lives of hormonal, competitive supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits and compete for top spot in the school,” reads the official synopsis.
Planned premiere sometime in 2023, Gen V Stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Here and now), Shelley Conn (Bridgeton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage bounty hunters), London Thor (shameless), Derek Luh (Glowing Valley), Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger (The stairs), Sean Patrick Thomas (For all mankind) and Marco Pigossi (Brazil Invisible City).
fans of The young will notice several characters making guest appearances in the teaser, including Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train, Colby Minifies Ashley Barrett, and PJ Byrnes Dawn of the Seven Director Adam Bourke.
Also in the clip are Clancy Brown (billion, Sleepy Cave), Alexander Calvert (supernatural) and Jason Knight (raise Dion, parenting).
Marvel’s Agent Carter‘s Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners on Gen V and will be an executive producer on the side The young Chef Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe and Michaela Starr.
