The View moderators try to get an NSFW response from Joy Behar: “Wanted to see how far Joy would go” +2023

From her sex with ghosts to teasing about a light in her vagina, Joy Behar has never shied away from an NSFW response throughout The view. And this morning, the other women, overhearing the longtime host’s frequent antics, were clearly trying to goad her into another risqué comment.

While discussing increased infidelity rates around the holidays and a study showing that relationships are more likely to last when the woman is the cheat, Behar jumped in for the panel with her own theory.

“It shows you that women are lonelier. They are lonely in their marriage,” she said. “They cheat for emotional reasons, men only cheat because they are men. This is from the Behar University study.”

The host explained that she believes that “the loneliest people in the world are married women,” while “single women aren’t that lonely.”

“There you are in marriage and you’re looking at him in his Archie Bunker chair and you’re lonely. Because he’s not there for you, he might as well be alone,” Behar explained, to which Whoopi Goldberg suggested, “Why don’t you sit on his lap in that chair?”

While a grinning Sunny Hostin sipped her tea and chimed in, “It’s working,” Goldberg joked, “Please, please. Don’t pretend I’m going to say anything new.”

But Behar stood his ground as she told the panel, “I don’t know, you wouldn’t want to sit on his lap.” The host declined to elaborate (perhaps for the first time!) when Sara Haines asked, “Is it Al Bundy-ish?” Instead, she brushed the subject aside and told the ladies they would have to discuss it later.

Before heading into the commercial break, Goldberg admitted, “We just wanted to see how far Joy would take that,” before Behar quipped, “Don’t ask me for my personal history, that’s all I ask.” Noted.

The view airs weekdays at 11/10 a.m. on ABC.
