True Spirit Starring Teagan Croft, Release Date, Synopsis, Cast and More +2023

Titans Actress Teagan Croft plays the adventurous Australian seafarer Jessica Watson in the upcoming Netflix true spiritbased on Watson’s book of the same name, which she wrote to chronicle her experiences.

On October 18, 2009, 16-year-old Jessica, from Sydney, Australia, ventured into the sea to try to become the first person to complete a solo circumnavigation of the world unaided. She returned on May 15, 2010, just days before her 17th birthday.

Although Jessica’s ultimate distance is did not quite reach the 21,600 nautical miles required to reach her record goalJessica was nevertheless awarded an Order of Australia medal and inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame.

The wondrous true story is brought to the big screen in the upcoming Netflix drama starring Croft Watson. She will be joined by Academy Award winner Anna Paquin, Josh Lawson and others.

true spirit went into production in 2021 and was originally supposed to be released earlier, but the pandemic caused some delays.
