Ever since Netflix premiered Wednesday, there has been a lot of talk about Wednesday Addams’ romantic interests on the show. In season one, our smug protagonist (played by Jenna Ortega) dove into a love triangle with Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) and Xavier Thorpe (Percy Hynes White). However, many viewers were hoping another character would compete for Wednesday’s Obsidian Heart: her werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair, played by the wonderful Emma Myers.
The Wednesday and Enid duo have become one of the most popular ships in the series, and fans are officially naming the would-be couple Wenclair. (The hashtag #Wenclair has over 1 billion views on TikTok at the time of writing.)
And as it turns out, viewers aren’t the only ones manifesting this arc of opposites — both Jenna and Emma are, too very much on board.
During the series premiere event, Jenna gave a little interview PROUD on the red carpet and admitted that “in a perfect world, [Wenclair] would have been a thing.” Talking to elite dailyEmma also opened up about Wednesday and Enid’s relationship and their strong connection, sharing that they were aware of fans’ hopes for a possible romance.

According to Emma, she and Jenna spent a good portion of their filming in Romania, during which they referenced the iconic “and they were roommates” Vine that has become since its inception a weird meme. “Jenna and I would say that to each other all the time,” Emma told the publication. “And that’s all that needs to be said — I think that gets the message across.” (Loud and clear!)
