The Monster of Wall Street arrives on Netflix in January +2023

Oscar-nominated filmmaker and documentary maker Joe Berlinger is back on Netflix with another documentary series, this time about notorious financier and con artist Bernie Madoff. MADOFF: The Monster of Wall Street is an upcoming docuseries that explores Madoff’s multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme. Launching in January, it will consist of four one-hour episodes.

Berlinger’s previous Netflix projects include the crime scene Series that recently released its third installment which focused on the Texas Killing Fields. He is also behind Netflix’s the Confessions of a Killer Documentary series focusing on serial killers like John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy.

In addition to directing, Berlinger is also an executive producer The Wall Street Monster alongside Jon Kamen, Jon Doran, Jen Isaacson, Samantha Grogin and Eve Rodrick.

What is “The Monster of Wall Street” about?

These documentaries will uncover the truth behind Madoff’s plan, the largest of its kind in history. Netflix will provide never-before-seen video testimonies from Madoff himself, in addition to providing access to whistleblowers, investigators, victims and more.

Where is Bernie Madoff now?

Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in June 2009. He was incarcerated at the Federal Medical Center, Butner, a federal prison in North Carolina. when he died on April 14, 2021 after almost 12 years of service at the age of 82due to end-stage renal disease.
