She was a great comic slide in @tvscreamqueens and a beautiful mommy bear in her very real life,” Jamie’s caption read. “She helped me buy rompers for my family for Christmas back then. We agreed that we disagreed on some things but had a mutual respect and connection. Sad news.”

Jamie wasn’t the only one scream queens alum to post about Kirstie’s death, either as Abigail Breslin, 26, also took to Instagram to talk about her grief. “RIP @kirstiealley you were an amazing woman. I’m so glad I got to work with you scream queens Season 2 and always giggled at the way you typed your name into my phone. I hope you are resting peacefully now. Dear Kirstie’s family and friends. Xx,” the actress wrote. she screenshot contained Kirstie’s phone contact that said “Kirstie (how thirsty)”.

News of the Golden Globe winner’s death was shared via Instagram and Twitter on December 5 about her family. “To all our friends, far and wide around the world… We are saddened to announce that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer that was only recently discovered,” the statement began. “She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great vigour, leaving us reassured of her never-ending zest for life and all the adventures ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”

Love always, True and Lillie Parker.” Although her family announced that she had died of cancer, an official cause of death was released at the time.

radio host Adam Carola58 wrote a message via twitter about the late beauty. “I was lucky enough to know you @kirstiealley. Rest in peace my friend,” he wrote. Four Christmases actress Kristin Chenoweth54, also shared a number of photos to mourn her friend. “I love you Kirstie. I will see you again one day. I can’t believe you’re gone,” the Broadway star wrote. “RIP Kirstie. i loved you so much We’ll see each other again,” added Kristin in a previous tweet.
