If the “stakes are that high,” it would make the most sense for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to share their own story of how it all went downhill, right? That’s what the former actress asks herself in the teaser trailer for the couple’s upcoming documentary series. Harry and Meganon Netflix.
The former royals announced they would step down from their roles as senior members of the royal family in January 2020. This means that they would have to become financially independent. And while they retain their Royal Highness style, they are not allowed to use it.
The production will be an “unprecedented and profound” series in which Harry and Meghan share the “other side” of their love story, Netflix announces. The couple will take us back to the beginning of their relationship and explore the challenges that led them to take such drastic action in January 2020.
You can also expect to hear from family and friends who have never spoken out, and from historians looking at where the British Commonwealth is today.
Like her sit-down interview with Oprah in March 2021, this documentary will pique the interest of many. So when do you need to set your alarm?
