A new week is here and while this week doesn’t have as many new movies and shows on Netflix as the last couple, there are still a few new things you might want to check out. This week’s new additions include a crime drama starring Aubrey Plaza, a new anime series and a retelling of a well-known fairy tale.
One of the biggest movies coming to Netflix this week is Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro. The famous horror director gives us his take on the wooden marionette that comes to life and adventures on its own.
The film features the voices of Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Gregory Mann, Burn Gorman, Ron Perlman, John Turturro, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, Tim Blake Nelson, Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton.
It’s available to stream on Friday December 9th, 2022.
Netflix is adding Dragon Age: Absolution and Emily the Criminal this week

Emily the criminal also coming to Netflix this week. It’s coming to the streaming service on Wednesday, December 7th. The film stars Aubrey Plaza and tells the story of a young woman who has a lot of debt and is unable to find a job because of her criminal record. To get back on her feet, she becomes a “dummy shopper” in a credit card scam, but soon finds herself in more danger than she ever imagined.

More into anime? Dragon Age: Absolution Coming to Netflix on Friday, December 9th. Set in the Tevinter Empire, the new animated series follows Miriam, an elf mercenary who must battle the evil Empire after a heist she’s conducting with her friends goes awry. And to fight this evil, she must confront her unfortunate past.
