Britney Spears took to Instagram on December 2 to celebrate her 41st birthday with her husband Sam Asgari, 28, sang her happy birthday. “My husband surprised me !!! I’m sick with the flu and he came down the stairs…he was pretty damn smooth!!!! I love you !!!! It’s Mr. and Mrs. Asghari!!!” the hitmaker captioned it adorable video. In the clip, Sam was seen placing candles on a white birthday cake, while a pink cake held a champagne bottle in the background.

Hours before the video was shared, Sam went to his Instagram story to show that he bought Britney’s birthday cake. “Thanks @sweetladyjanebakeries,” he captioned the post along with a cake emoji. Many of the Britney Army fans in the comments section expressed concern for the 41-year-old as she had not mentioned her birthday all day after posting what appeared to be bizarre posts just hours earlier. “Sooooo she’s not in her own birthday video?” wrote one follower, while another added, “That voice doesn’t sound like Britney.” However, the “Hold Me Closer” singer did note in her caption that she, as above mentioned being “sick with the flu”.

Brit’s post comes just two hours after she shared a photo of her sister. Jamie Lynn Spears, 31, along with a strange caption as the sisters have been in a feud for a long time. “It’s my B-Day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking of you… Congratulations for being so brave, inspiring and showing courage and glory on your show!!! You are not alone…if anyone knows how that feels…I see my little sister!!! Love you!!!” the mother-of-two captioned the post. JL wore a floral blouse and Daisy Duke shorts while playing the guitar the photo.

Naturally, Britney’s 41.6million followers were shocked by the post, as the blonde bombshell has spoken publicly about her and JL’s estranged relationship. “Really? On your birthday we have pictures of your marriage and sister? What about you? How was your day?? How are you feeling?” wrote one admirer, while another added: “Am I the only one who. confused?” However, a separate fan recorded the comment to defend Britney. “Britney deserves the right to have a change of heart. Family is family and the truth is none of us has the right to monitor how she is dealing with her past trauma, whether that looks like anger and pain or support and forgiveness,” the fan commented.

Despite the confusing posts for Britney Army, a few celebrities chose to focus on the pop icon’s birthday, including her longtime friend Paris Hilton41. The media personality took to Instagram on December 2nd to share a love affair birthday video for Britney. “Happy Birthday @BritneySpears! So many magical memories with you after over two decades of friendship! Thank you for being such an incredible friend with the most beautiful soul. You deserve all the happiness in the world!” wrote the DJ. Some of the content in the post included a video of Britney’s wedding, a souvenir photo of the two beauties at the club, and several souvenir selfies taken by Britney and Paris.
