From making Amy Adams squeal to the collective demise of the internet, Henry Cavill can make a difference with his looks. But did you know that his looks, especially the mustache look, inspired a donation? When people say there’s a lot Cavill can do, they’re certainly not kidding.
It takes someone who is very determined to keep training and taking on physically challenging roles that he does. And one such tale of determination consists of Henry Cavill refusing to shave his mustache afterwards Mission Impossible Fallout.
Why did Henry Cavill refuse to shave his mustache?
One of the biggest issues viewers have with Justice League is the extensive CGI. What adds the salt to the wounds is the fact that CGI is not even intended for the purpose of a killer fight sequence that would make you pump up your fist, but is actually used as a horrific attempt to hide Henry Cavill’s mustache, which is what the clearly becomes controversy about it man of Steel actor later being cornered wasn’t such a good decision. While fans love Cavill in almost everything, be it a tight Superman costume or his mustache, having literally half of his heavily edited film isn’t ideal.

But given the commitment he had made Mission Impossible – FalloutThe actor refused to shave his King Stache. The mustache didn’t just make Cavill look like an impossibly handsome duke from a medical fairy tale, though.

As a token of appreciation for Cavill’s commitment, Paramount Pictures made a generous donation to Movember. For those of you who don’t know, Movember is a men’s health charity. What’s more, Paramount Pictures even announced on Twitter that they were going to do this, encouraging more people to get involved.

The story behind the organization dates back to 2004, when a group of brave Australian men refused to shave their mustaches for a month to raise awareness about prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

As can be seen from the name of the organization “Movember”, the month when they didn’t shave their mustaches was November. While Cavill might have other reasons for not shaving the mustache, he ended up making a bigger difference than he probably imagined. The actor has had to talk about the “King Stache” more times than he has over the years movies as superman.
