Someone was watching What we do in the shadows. Whoopi Goldberg proved on this morning’s episode The view that she knows her vampires from her werewolves, unlike a certain Georgia Senate candidate. After Herschel Walker attempted to diss his opponent Raphael Warnock with a fantasy analogy, Goldberg set the record straight and began the basic definitions of the creepy creatures.
Your valuable lesson came when The view The panel discussed the upcoming Georgia Senate runoff taking place tomorrow (December 6) and the tense race between Walker and incumbent Warnock. During Hot Topics, the show showed a clip of Walker on the campaign trail telling the crowd at a recent rally, “A werewolf can kill a vampire…I never knew that, so I didn’t want to be a vampire anymore.” I wanted to be a werewolf.”
They followed the clip with a response from former President Barack Obama, who poked fun at Walker while he was campaigning for Warnock. Obama told the crowd, “Mr. Walker has spoken on issues of great importance to the people of Georgia, such as whether it’s better to be a vampire or a werewolf. I must confess that I had this debate myself once… when I was seven years old. Then I grew up.”
Corresponding The hillWalker had mentioned the werewolf-vampire comparison when trying to create a metaphor for the Senate race from a movie he had recently seen in which “a person unsuccessfully tried to defeat a vampire…with holy water and a cross.” .
After playing the clips of Walker and Obama, Goldberg looked into the camera to make a toneless explanation of how vampires are different from werewolves. And it really sounds like she’s a fantasy fan.
“I’m just going to say this so everyone is clear: First, werewolves are mortal. OK? Vampires are immortal. Vampires can fly. I guess he was talking about faith because he saw a movie where an atheist couldn’t kill a vampire with a cross,” she said.
After frowning in confusion, Goldberg continued, “You don’t actually need faith to kill a vampire. I mean, when we’re talking about these things, let’s really talk about them in their entirety.”
