What Firefly Lane’s final episodes will look

I wonder what we might see Firefly Lane Season 2, part 2? As mentioned above, Part 1 ends on a series of emotional cliffhangers, the three biggest being Kate’s cancer diagnosis, the state of her friendship with Tully, and Tully’s new job offer in Antarctica – which she appears to have accepted!

Firefly Lane Season 2, Part 2 will tie up those loose ends, but it will also take a huge time warp into the future. (Because three timelines just aren’t enough on this show!) At the end of Episode 9, Netflix shows a minute-long preview of Part 2, entitled “There’s More to Come.” Here’s what we learned from it.

We see them Firefly Lane The universe jumps 10 years into the future with Johnny (Ben Lawson) and Kate’s brother Sean (Jason McKinnon) dressed in suits standing in front of an altar. Chairs are set up in what looks like Johnny and Kate’s house, flowers fill the room, and guests chatter happily before the ceremony begins. “It’s almost time to go. How are you feeling?” Sean asks Johnny. “I would feel a lot better if the bride showed up. We’re supposed to start any minute,” Johnny replies.

In Season 2 Part 1, Johnny proposed to Kate again and she agreed, so for a moment we wonder if she survived her battle with cancer and is finally remarrying her ex-husband a decade after her diagnosis. But then we cut to TULLY (!!!) dressed all in white, fixing her makeup in the bathroom and yelling, “Hold your horses! I’m almost done. It’s not like you can start without me anyway.” She exhales deeply, smiles and the screen goes black. AAHHHH!!!!!

Does Kate die?! Are Tully and Johnny actually the ones getting married? Start your countdown calendar, Firefly Lane fans. It will be a long half year of waiting, asking and worrying.

The first nine episodes of Firefly Lane Season 2 is now available to stream on Netflix.
