There’s no denying that with a following of millions, Billie Eilish is what it means to be a true pop star in this time and age. The Happier Than Ever singer is not only popular across the globe but also has a ton of awards that showcase her talent. At just fourteen, Eilish topped the charts with Ocean Eyes.
Not to mention that she and her brother made the entire album in their room. The magical sibling duo not only wrote but produced all the iconic songs from their first album, even Bad Guy, all in their room. Eilish’s parents were very supportive of her love of music. She even let the singer do homeschooling so she can focus on what she loves. The singer may now be singing in big studios with thousands of people, but it wasn’t always like that.
Did Billie Eilish have a rather small first appearance?
The fact that Eilish was only fourteen when Ocean Eyes came out is shocking enough for anyone. The singer is universally acclaimed for achieving so much at a young age. But Eilish’s love of singing and her habit of singing began long before that. There are tons of photos online of a toddler Eilish singing at the top of his lungs right now. In her book, titled Billie Eilish, which will be out in 2021, the singer opens up to fans about very personal details about her life, revealing that her first gig was at a slumber party.

Eilish was only thirteen when she went to a cute slumber party with all her friends and sang for a small crowd. “we threw glitter,says the singer about the party. “It was the first time I’ve performed for a group of people I really knew, apart from talent shows and stuff for me.‘ the Happier Than Ever singer said of her debut performance.

When she mentioned singing as her talent, all her friends encouraged her to sing a song for her. And then a thirteen-year-old Eilish picked up her guitar and sang “Secret” by Missy Higgins.
