There’s officially another teenager in Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s family. On December 8, the former couple’s son Benjamin Rein turned 13 and his parents celebrated his big day with photos and loving tributes to their son on Instagram.
Brady kicked off the celebration Thursday with a candid photo of Benjamin hanging out on a deck. “Happy 13th birthday to the newest teenager. You are so special and loved. There is no greater gift than being your father. We love you so much Benny ❤️❤️❤️,” the quarterback captioned his post. Bundchen commented on the post with a red heart before sharing her own tribute on Friday.
“We’ve got a new teenager in the house!” Bundchen captioned a series of photos with Benjamin on the beach posing with a horse and acting silly for the camera. “Happy Birthday my sweet angel! I am so proud of the kind, loving and brave young man that you are. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives. We love you so much! ❤️”
In addition to Benjamin, Brady and Bundchen also share daughter Vivian Lake, who turned 10 on December 5. The NFL player is also father to 15-year-old Jack, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
When Brady and Bundchen divorced in October, both made it clear that their top priority would remain the well-being of their children. “My priority has always been and always will be our children, who I love with all my heart,” the Victoria’s Secret model wrote in an Instagram Story announcing the couple’s split. “We will continue to raise together to give them the love, care and attention they so much deserve.”
Since then, the former couple has continued to do just that. In November, Bundchen left a supportive comment on Brady’s post celebrating Jack’s love of football. Meanwhile, Brady has shared a series of posts on spending time with his kids since the divorce, including a photo of him preparing to leave Trick or treat with Benjamin and Vivian in October. It seems that even though their marriage is over, Brady and Bundchen are still a team when it comes to their kids.
