TJ Holmes and Amy Robach are co-hosts on Good Morning America. Both are also married to other people – Robach to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes to lawyer Marilee Fiebig. But on November 30, photos surfaced of the couple enjoying what appeared to be a romantic weekend in upstate New York. The Daily Mailwho first posted the photos, shared a series of shots of the couple drinking beer, walking around and holding hands in a car.
On the day the photos appeared online, both hosts deleted their respective Instagram accounts. Neither has addressed the images, and representatives from both hosts did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
A source said shortly after the photos surfaced persons that both Robach and Holmes are no longer with their spouses. “These were two consenting adults who were each separated. They both separated from their spouses within weeks of each other in August,” the source claimed. “The relationship only started after that.” A source also told entertainment tonight that their relationship “has been going on in secret for some time but how long is really unknown,” adding that they’ve “done their best to keep things professional and personal.”
Both presenters married their respective partners in 2010. After the photos surfaced, Robach’s husband, Shue, appeared to delete all of his wife’s photos from his Instagram account E! news. Robach has two girls of his own from a previous marriage and is a stepmother to Shue’s three sons. Meanwhile, Fiebig, who shares a daughter with Holmes, has currently set her Instagram account to private and has not addressed the photos publicly. Holmes also has a son and daughter from a previous marriage.
Holmes has frequently shared declarations of love for his wife over the years. “If she would devote even 10 minutes of her time to me today, I would feel blessed,” he wrote in a 2020 homage to Fiebig to celebrate their 10th marriage anniversary. However, in November, he shared a quote on Instagram that read: “End the relationship and cry once. It’s better than being with them and crying every day.” Us weekly. Fans also noted that Robach’s wedding ring appeared to be missing from her finger in some November posts, according to Instagram Yahoo entertainment.
Neither host addressed the drama in their appearance Thursday afternoon on Good Morning America. In the past, however, the two have been open about their friendship. “The moment he started at ABC, I think we just clicked,” Robach previously said persons her relationship with Holmes. “We’ve had a lot of double dates with our spouses and my daughters babysit his daughters.”
