Creator, Writer and Director mike white will direct the third season. “There is no place I would rather work than HBO, and there are no people I would rather work with Casey Bloys, Francesca Orsi, Nora Skinner, and their incredible team. The White Lotus Season 3 cast

Connie BritonShe, who played Nicole Mossbacher in season one, is hoping her character will return in season three. “He [Mike White] wanted me to be in season two and there was an idea that I loved for the character. Our intention is to do that in Season 3. A bit of casting didn’t work out in season two and we hope so [do] that in the third season. I would love to see a spinoff of every character on this show,” said Connie meeting.
Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lace, who played newlyweds Rachel and Shane Patton, announced they would be returning in the future. “Shane and I were on a boat talking about other people and teasing everyone around us,” Alexandra said meeting. “Mike’s brain is always working. That’s the whole thing about his commentary on the world around him: he’s always observing.”
Jake added, “Mike texted Alex and I with this idea for an episode where we would talk for half an hour; It’s just the banality of rich people on a boat.” He also floated the idea: “I was hoping so Molly Shannon and I would stand behind a shot; We both vacation somewhere else and chew up a concierge. It’s like, ‘This guy’s still out there. He’s not even on trial; the guy’s still going on vacation!’”
One character unlikely to return is Tanya McQuoid, played by Jennifer Coolidge. After knocking out the men hired by her husband Greg to kill her, Tanya fell off the side of the yacht and drowned in the season 2 finale.
However, Mike did tell meeting that “maybe you can’t go to Japan without Jennifer”. The Emmy winner could return as a completely different character. Jennifer tells ET that she would definitely return. “I mean, I don’t know what Mike’s up to. But yes, I would like to [to come back],” She said.
