DESCRIPTION: Based on the 2010-2016 manga series of the same name by Haro Aso, this Japanese-language sci-fi thriller drama series is back after premiering on Netflix in 2020. The show follows 24-year-old gamer Ryōhei Arisu (Yamazaki) and young mountaineer Yuzuha Usagi (Tsuchiya) who, in their grief, decide to join forces after being forced to participate in dangerous games that either involve prolonging their own gaming visa or end up with a laser execution (talk about high stakes).
