Sometimes we love a character, but we can’t connect with them on a deeper level. The same happened with the stranger things Stern, Millie Bobby Brown. Just like us, she grew up watching Disney shows and movies. Although there were so many interestingly amazing characters portrayed by skilled actors who Enola Holmes star couldn’t connect to them.
Cartoons and movies have a deep impact on our lives as we grow up. Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, High School Musical, and so on are the shows that have a long lasting magic on our hearts. Many times it would have happened that you loved the character and still love her, but you didn’t and don’t feel a connection to her. This is because you love them for who they are and not for your reflection on them. But that missing connection is always there. This is what happened with Millie Bobby Brown, as she explained in one interview.

Although Millie Bobby Brown loves her dearly, she cannot feel her
The 18-year-old actress recently starred in the Netflix original film. Enola Holmes. While viewers loved the film, Enola herself opened up about why she felt closer to the character and not the Disney characters she grew up with. The young actress revealed that she used to watch Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus on the Disney Channel. Every time she watched her she would fall in love with her. but They never sounded like her as she explained. The reason is that she came from a different place than these characters. In her own words “But for some reason I’ve never had anyone who sounded like me, that’s where I came from, that was a girl.”
However, Enola Holmes sounded very much like her, and so she could easily resonate with her. The young actress saw in Enola a role model she never had growing up. That’s why she could see them great qualities along with bad qualities in Enola Holmes. So she loved fitting the parts of herself into the character of the film.
That doesn’t mean she didn’t love Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus at all. It just meant She derived her motivation from these actresses while you love them and learn from them. According to Millie Bobby Brown, Enola Holmes is layered and imperfect, and that’s what people like to see because it’s true.

One more thing Charmed was the English actor in which they both worked an industry neither of them liked. And both reject this thought and this mentality. Thus, while loving and being inspired by the Disney characters, the young actress loved the imperfectly perfect character of Enola Holmes.
