Blachowicz, currently the third-ranked light heavyweight, enters the match for the vacant title tonight 29-9, most recently defeating Aleksandar Rakić in a UFC on ESPN event in May 2022. Ankalaev (18-1), the fourth-seeded light heavyweight division, enters the octagon on a nine-fight win streak, most recently losing to Paul Craig in a UFC Fight Night event in March 2018.
