Simone Biles may not be officially a married woman just yet, but she and fiancé Jonathan Owens have already (effectively) sent out their 2022 Christmas cards as a couple. Posting a series of photos taken by the photographer Rachel Taylorthe gymnast captioned them Instagram carousel“HAPPY HOLIDAYS ❤️.”

For the shoot, Biles, 25, slipped into a cherry red silk mini dress, which featured a chain link necklace, a simple nose ring and strappy black heels. Her look was completed with a wide-brimmed red hat, and she opted for shimmery white eyeshadow and her hair in loose curls. Owens, on the other hand, wore his version of Winter White from head to toe, rocking, slim-fitting, ankle-length jeans; Saint Laurent low-top sneakers; and a lightweight striped bomber over a classic tee. Posing against a clean backdrop, the duo staged a cocktails at home theme with a green velvet couch and artificial snow-covered trees acting as props. They held champagne flutes, walked arm in arm, and even practiced an adorable act that would come in handy at their upcoming nuptials.

Although this is their first vacation photo shoot together, Taylor is the same photographer who recently took the couple’s official engagement photos, in which they wore matching ripped jeans and t-shirts. We’re hoping there will be more outfit coordination even after they’ve tied the knot. After all, they already have their date night style up their sleeve, and Biles is well-versed in creating bespoke attire to support Owens’ football team.
