Summer might be long gone, but the sheer trend continues to hold the fashion world tight. Simone Ashley is the latest to vouch that it’s a year-round look with her latest red carpet appearance.
For the British Fashion Council’s The Fashion Awards 2022, Simone Ashley took a look at some of the year’s hottest trends. Her 16Arlington gown combined the sheer and sparkle trends that dominated fashion in 2022. Simone was covered in a light blue sheer fabric that was embellished with gems from head to toe – literally. Along with the floor-length dress, she wore a matching hood. It covered the back of her wet waves, with just a few strands peeking out from underneath to frame her face. Her sleeves, too, reached over her palms like fingerless gloves. A small leg slit at the skirt revealed her clear heels, a simple but striking addition to the blue and silver look.

Despite the high neckline and jewels, Ashley opted for more bling with a stacked diamond choker. But why stop there? Her glamor added even more shimmer to the look. Simone stunned with a silver smokey eye. Paired with a nude glossed lip and a glowing highlight, the classic yet timeless makeup was everything. For the finishing touch, she opted for a pearly white manicure and pulled the look together.
