Now that we’re in the last month of the year, Netflix fans are looking to 2023 and counting down the days until some of their favorite shows return with new seasons. You Season 4 will be released in the first half of the new year and we can’t wait to see it The Witcher Season 3 when that premieres in the summer.
There are also plenty of titles confirmed for 2023, but we have no idea which month or time of year. One of them would be shadow and bone Season 2, which we learned about during TUDUM, is definitely coming sometime in 2023. But when exactly? That was all speculation until recently, when attention-grabbing fans spotted an Instagram post that could give away the month of release. And if it’s true, then shadow and bone Season 2 is coming out very soon.

Gwyther says Renaux is the “star of the brilliant @shadowandbone” before adding it is “returning to @netflix in January”. January? Like next month?! Naturally, many flocked to the comments section to ask about what was obviously a big reveal.
Is Shadow and Bone Season 2 Release Date January 2023?
At the time of writing this article, Netflix has not yet announced the release date for shadow and bone Season 2, so while this post seems to reveal the month, we’re not sure yet. Although fans would love to see the new season out as soon as possible, it would be strange considering Netflix hasn’t done much promotion for it yet. Without teasers, posters and more, would they really release the new season far in advance?
Take You Season 4 for example. This will be published in two parts, with the first part being released in February 2023 and the second in March 2023. We got those release dates at TUDUM in September, and we’ve been getting posters and more promo since then. It would be unusual for Netflix to fall shadow and bone Season 2 last minute, but hey, who knows? We’re not saying it’s impossible. It’s one of their biggest originals though, so I’d be pretty shocked if it came out in January.
