The holiday season is here and with it fans are bringing back Ryan Reynolds’ infamously ugly Christmas sweater. Apparently, fans will never let the actor forget that ugly sweater.
Reynolds has trolled other people and has been trolled before. Only his good friends Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal could pull off such an impossible feat. But the prank turned out to be really good in the long run. Now that it’s making a comeback, here’s what the actor thinks about it.

In 2018, before the pandemic struck and all social gatherings were cancelled, Hugh and Jake Gyllenhaal threw a Christmas party. Guests should come to the party in their ugliest sweaters, but when Ryan Reynolds made an entry, he realized the dress code was a lie. His friends had just drawn the biggest ones Prank of the century with him. The Aviation Gin owner took the most grotesque sweater he’d ever owned out of his closet, only to be the butt of the joke at the meeting.
But as we all know, a man can take a joke. He turned the tables when he used the sweater to launch a fun campaign to raise money for Toronto’s SickKids Foundation. Developed the brilliant marketing strategy $640,000 as more and more people bought his holiday sweater and made it a trend. And the trend continues this year at Christmas.
Fans keep ordering the ugly green sweater and the blue sweater with a gold bow. When a fan tagged the Canadian in a post showing off his latest sweater collection, the Dead Pool star replied in emojis related to brotherhood!

Jackman and Reynolds will reunite in the time to come Dead Pool triquel. The former had revealed that he regretted his decision to quit as Wolverine and was excited to return to the role.
