Who is Jack Black in? Rick and Morty Season 6, Episode 9?

When one of your fiendishest characters is played by Jack Black, you know you’re in for a good time. In A Rick in King Mortur’s Mort, Black plays the leader of the Viscounts of Venus, one of the many groups fighting for control of the solar system. He is the last to hold the almighty scepter before Rick uses a portal to rip it from his hands. He also oversees the ceremony where King Morty cuts off his penis.

The legendary comedy actor has an interesting connection to one of Rick and Morty’s creator. Justin Roiland met Jack Black for the first time during a recording of Mr Show. At the time, he was just a fan of Black’s work, but thanks to Dan Harmon’s Channel 101, he began collaborating with Black. Years later, Black starred in it one of Justin Roiland’s early animated shows. Although never picked up, it was the first series Roiland ever sold. Roiland credited that early success to Black, and to this day Roiland has remained grateful to Jack Black for believing in him in the early days of his career.

Who is Daniel Radcliffe in? Rick and Morty Season 6, Episode 9?

Daniel Radcliffe plays the greater Knight of the Sun. He is the one who explains the knights’ clearly false religion.

Funnily enough, this casting is such that Radcliffe’s role accounts for one of the best callbacks of all time Rick and Morty Story. After all three fake cocks Rick is making are discovered, Morty realizes he must sacrifice his penis to the sun. But at the last minute, Rick tells him to run before dramatically throwing both of their bodies into the sun.

“He was so ashamed of what he had done to our society that sacrificing his cock wasn’t enough. He gave his whole body and also the wizard servant,” says Radcliffe’s knight as he tells this story. “And after a while, her sun-tight bones would float to the top. We even checked with a royal trowel to make sure it was real sun, not just them hiding in a vat of fake sun underneath.”

That’s correct. “A Rick in King Mortur’s Mort” ends with the joke “The Vat of Acid Episode”. Really, this show is art.

Like Black, that’s not Radcliffe’s only connection to this wild series. Radcliffe has long been an outspoken fan of the series. For this reason, when the team first decided to do three live action Rick and Morty shortswas Radcliffe at the top of the list to play Morty. Wisely, Radcliffe turned down the role, which went to the more age-appropriate Jaden Martell instead.
