The 36-year-old singer first released the hit single Poker Face in 2008, which went on to become one of the biggest songs, topping the charts for weeks, not just in the US but around the world. Known for his own creativity in music, West was shocked once to learn the meaning of Lady Gaga’s song Poker Face. Already in 2009 the artist gave one interview where he spoke about hearing the song live and said: “The whole backstory of the song is really debatable. When I found out that her actual song is about her making love to her boyfriend but really thinking about her girlfriend, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s crazy.’ Ye liked the fact that Gaga challenges people through her music with underlying messages.
Ye even sampled her music track to make Make Her Say along with Kid Cudi and also liked the song’s beats. He had never heard of the acoustic version and was surprised to know that the song was actually about a*sexual lesbian fantasies. He also thought that the way the word poker is used in the song resembles hip-hop style.
