Reality Explained: The Victims of Texas Killing Fields and Their True Stories +2023

Despite the growing popularity of producing murder and true-crime documentaries, no one can beat Netflix on their own. The OTT Mughal is holding onto its crown again this year with releases such as Dahmer: Monsters: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer, Conversations with a Murderer: John Wayne Gacyand last Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields. The latest true-crime documentary about the streaming giant explores the deadly fields in Texas that have been the scene of numerous murders.

On the 25-acre piece of land in Texas, dozens of families have lost loved ones. However, there seems to be a pattern. Girls between the ages of 12 and 25 with similar physical characteristics are usually the ones who go missing.

There have been 30 murder victims at the Texas Killing Field since the 1970s. However, there are many more that have disappeared. As explored in the documentaries, many, including victims’ families, believe that there is more than one serial killer. Aside from the curious searchers, if a psychopath with intent to kill searched “Best Place to Get Away with Murder,” they would be directed to the Texas Killing Fields. The documentaries bring to light the stories of the families of the many victims. Those who were once suspected, only to be proven not guilty, lost their lives. Check out the series Netflix.
