Priyanka Chopra gives new meaning to the nude dress as she recently wore one Tony Ward Couture Dress that was sheer and nude but completely covered in shiny sequins and beads. Shown at the opening ceremony of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on Thursday December 1, the 40-year-old star’s silk gown boasted swirling gilded embroidery across the plunging neckline and train.
The look, straight from the runway, from Ward’s latest collection from the stylist law cockroach, was a stunning display of glamour. With a cape-like silhouette, the dress hung loosely on her frame with sleeves that brushed the floor. The deep V-neckline, which plunges both front and back, has been played up by three rows of beaded fringes.
Chopra accessorised with an ornate diamond and emerald choker and matching earrings. The actress kept it simple when it came to hair and makeup, letting her beachy waves cascade down her shoulders in a side part with fairly subtle, natural makeup. Although Chopra attended this special event alone, it was on her fourth wedding anniversary to singer Nick Jonas. To celebrate, she posted an adorable photo and wrote, “Find a guy who will remind you everyday that you are loved. Happy anniversary babe.”
Of late, Chopra has opted for tailored suits, like her white pants and crop top last month, followed by colorful matching suits a few days later. Seeing her shine in couture for a night out felt totally appropriate, especially in the middle of the holiday season.
