Willow Sage Hart is a singer in the making. On Dec. 13, Pink shared a video of her 11-year-old daughter performing a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “The Rose Song” from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series at her first school concert. “So proud of this girl (first concert) made it,” the mother-of-two commented on the video, which showed Hart standing on stage between a keyboard and a lit Christmas tree.
“This 11 year old (11,000 year old soul) blows my mind.”
Like her mother, Hart proved she had the vocal skills needed to sing a ballad beautifully when she sang, “All my life, I’ve seenself through your eyes / Wonderin’ if I am good enough for your time / You.” love me but For the wrong reasons / Am I yours and not someone? / Because I feel trapped on this pedestal you put me on / You tell me I’m beautiful, but I think that’s an understatement.”
After the first verse, Hart delivered a few melodic whoos, infusing each song’s lyrics with an impressive amount of passion and vocal control for someone so young. After the performance, the audience cheered and burst into well-deserved applause. With a big smile, Hart laughed as she bowed and walked off the stage.
“This 11 year old (11,000 year old soul) blows my mind,” Pink added, tagging Rodrigo in the comment. While Pink made sure to cheer for her daughter from the audience, Hart also had a few fans watching from their homes. “Holy cow!!! What a voice! What serenity. Superstar,” wrote Mandy Moore. In the comments, Jeremy Renner noted that Pink “must be so ridiculously proud,” while Nancy Wilson, inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, added, “Whoah Nelly! [There’ll] Don’t stop her!”
It’s no surprise that Hart pulled off her concert, considering she had her first chart-topping song when she was 9 years old. In February 2021, Hart and her mother released their duet, Cover Me in Sunshine, which marks the budding musician’s first musical collaboration. In May 2021, Pink also shared the stage with her daughter at the Billboard Music Awards, where the duo gave a stunning trapeze performance to their song.
In November, Pink brought her entire family, including her daughter; her almost 6-year-old son Jameson Moon Hart; and her husband Carey Hart walk down the red carpet at the American Music Awards. It wasn’t Willow’s first red carpet, and something about this concert video tells us it won’t be her last.
