Patti Labelle appeared quite shocked when she was pushed off stage at her Milwaukee concert on Saturday December 10th after a reported bomb threat. The 78-year-old legendary singer was standing at her microphone during a holiday performance at the Riverside Theater when the horrific incident took place. As seen in the video below, security personnel quickly ran to Patti, who yells, “Wait, wait!” as they cover for her and exit the venue.

Authorities then evacuated the site, according to a police press release at 11:25 p.m shared by a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Reporter. “In response to the bomb threat in Block 100 of W. Wisconsin, all guests have been safely evacuated,” the tweet said. “The police are currently clearing the facility. The investigation is ongoing and ongoing.”
In another video taken outside the Riverside Theater and posted by a concert-goer (below), the evacuated crowd stayed around to take stock of the situation. “We don’t know if we can return to the venue,” a woman is heard saying in the clip. “It would be up to the Riverside Theater if we can go back inside, but everything is on hold now.”
That Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the building was searched by police K9 units around 1:13 am Sunday and no explosive devices were found. Pabst Theater Group, the concert promoter, also said in a statement, “Tonight’s Patti LaBelle show at the Riverside Theater has been postponed after a bomb threat was investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department.”
While Patti may have been in a little danger, the “New Attitude” hitmaker isn’t easily intimidated, at least according to Patti, with whom she spoke EXCLUSIVELY HollywoodLife in 2021. “I was in that place where people just didn’t like me and I would still love them more,” she explained. “Everything I’ve been through has made me a stronger woman. I mean I’m 77 and I’m still standing and I can still sing. So nobody really hurt Patti LaBelle except Patti LaBelle.”
