Brittany Mahomes is now a boy mom! The wife of Patrick Mahomes27, gave birth to a child on Monday November 28th and the duo adopted Instagram to share the good news via a joint announcement. “Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III,” they captioned a waist-down picture of the baby wearing a cozy pair of brown and white newborn pajamas. “11/28/22 7 pounds 8 ounces.” They ended the post with a simple white heart. Baby “Bronze” was placed sweetly on a fluffy brown blanket, which was printed with “Mahomes” in the pattern. Little Patrick joins the big sister sterlingwho is only 20 months old.
Brittany herself took to the comments section to respond, simply writing “Baby Boy” next to a brown and white heart. The duo’s fans via Instagram went wild in the comments. “Future Steeler,” one fan quipped, while another wrote, “Happy Birthday Patrick & Brittany! So happy for you and especially big sister Sterling.” A third wrote: “Congratulations!!! Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom Bronze.”
The announcement came just a day after fan speculation surfaced that Brittany was in labour. The birth was rumored to be imminent after the Kansas City Chiefs game against the LA Chargers on Sunday, November 27th. However, she took to social media to push back. “Sorry guys I’m here,” Brittany wrote via Twitter alongside a picture of her 20-month-old daughter-turned-big-sis. Sterling. “Been busy. I’m not in labor, you’re all tripping.”
The couple first announced their second baby was in the works back in May. This adorable announcement featured Sterling proudly holding a plaque that read, “Big Sister Duties Coming Soon.” Patrick proposed to his longtime love Brittany in September 2020. Sterling was welcomed into the family in February 2021, and Patrick and Brittany hosted a beautiful Hawaiian wedding celebration just over a year later on March 12, 2022. Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes was the best man at the much-anticipated event.
