Emily wears trauma bangs, which are more stylish than expected

The third season of “Emily in Paris” has been available since December 21st and was streamed by many fashionistas within a few days. In addition to Emily’s love tangle and her colorful looks, this time the focus is on one thing in particular: her new trauma bangs, which the series character cut herself. While Emily’s friends poked fun at her hairstyle change on the show, the bangs are a big hit with fans. And rightly so – after all, a professional was at work here, as Emily actress Lily Collins, 33, now reveals.

On Instagram, she posts a video of herself and star hairstylist Gregory Russell, who is in the process of cutting her famous Emily bangs. What is striking is that the fringe is divided into thin strands and shortened to the right length with several cutting movements.

It is unclear exactly when filming for the third season began, but Lily Collins has been sporting a new fringe since November 2021.

New eyelash trick is more dangerous than expected

After strong contouring was the trend in recent years, the focus in the new year is once again on the natural look. Instead of make-up, eye shadow or lipstick, brow gel, mascara or false eyelashes are becoming increasingly important. A viral trend for eyelash gluing on social media platforms promises long eyelashes, of course, but it is not as harmless as it first appears.

Makeup artist Susanne Krammer has tried the beauty hack of covering the top edge of the false lashes with glue and then placing them on the waterline of the eye. After closing and opening the eyes, the lashes should now be perfectly positioned on the upper eyelid. It sounds easy, but unfortunately it doesn’t work that well in practice.

Instead of the artificial lashes connecting to the eyelash arch, the glue runs into the eye and it starts to sting terribly. This type of beauty hack definitely belongs in the stay away category.
