Nick cannon let his fans know not to worry about his health after he was hospitalized with pneumonia. The TV presenter took his Instagram on Friday, December 2, to share a snap of himself from a hospital bed, revealing he had contracted the illness after a “sold out” performance at Madison Square Garden the night before. “Okay I guess I’m not Superman…” he wrote in the caption.
“I swore to myself that I would never return to this place,” he continued. “But this is a great lesson in taking care of YOU, otherwise YOU won’t be able to take care of everyone else. Don’t stumble though, I don’t need any well wishes or prayers, just some solid rest and I’ll be on my way again to get stronger than ever…it’s just pneumonia, nothing I can’t handle.
He concluded his message by saying it felt “crazy” how he “rocked” the crowd at Madison Square Garden the night before and is now “alone in a tiny hospital room.” As he parted, Nick wrote, “Life is definitely a rollercoaster ride!” before captioning his lupus diagnosis, which he revealed over a decade ago, with “#LupusWarrior.”
The hospital visit comes after the singer/actor, who welcomed him as their 12th child on November 11, claimed a recent report estimating the cost of his financial responsibilities as a dad at around $3 million a year be a little low.
“I definitely spend a lot more on my kids every year,” he said The Neighborhood Talk. “I have no intention of ever having to participate in the system of government.” Of course, the crowd may change soon as Nick also has one on the way to 13th with model Alyssa Scottwhich is welcome news as the couple lost their five-month-old son Zen on his cancer battle in December 2021.
Meanwhile, Nick basked in the glow of fatherhood for the 12th time as he and Abby de la Rosa announced the birth of their third child together in one Instagram Post. “11/11/2022 A BEAUTIFUL DAY for “NICE ZEPPELIN CANNON” arrive!” wrote the couple. The baby comes just over a year after the couple welcomed their twins Zion and zillion, both 1, together.
Nick welcomed his son rise with example Brittany Bell in September, just nine days after the birth of his ninth child – a daughter with a name onyx ice cream – with model La Nisha Cole. Nick and Brittany, who have been in an ongoing relationship with the entertainer since 2014, also share a son Golden5, as well as daughter Mighty Queen, 22 months. Nick and Bre Tiesis son Legendary Love was born in July 2022. Nick also has 11-year-old twins Moroccan and monroe with ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
