A new week is upon us and if you’re feeling like the holiday stress is just around the corner, it might be time to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix. There’s a slew of new movies and shows coming this week, including a new Netflix original movie, a new special based on a Netflix series, and a new cooking show.
The biggest show coming this week is the recruit. The series, starring Noah Centineo, Laura Haddock, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Fivel Stewart, Colton Dunn and Aarti Mann, arrives on Netflix on Friday December 16, 2022. She accompanies a lawyer at the CIA in his first week of work. He discovers a threatening letter from a former activist and it leads him into the dangerous world of international politics. He has to find a way to keep his job and his life.

Who Killed Santa? A Murderville murder mystery also coming to Netflix this week. It’s available to stream on Thursday, December 15th. The special is based on that Mordville Series and stars Will Arnett along with celebrities who have to solve a crime. But while Arnett has a script, the two celebrities don’t. In this special, the two actors are Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph and they have to find out who killed Santa Claus!

Looking for a new cooking show? Cooking at all costs is also headed to the streaming service this week. It’s coming to Netflix on Friday, December 16. The show features three home cooks who start with $25,000 but need to buy the ingredients they will be cooking with. Will the cheaper ingredients help them win, or the most expensive ones? Whatever they make is judged by a panel of chefs, and if they win, they get to keep the extra money in their bank.
