In support of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, Meghan Markle visited Indianapolis to take part in an inspirational conversation on investing in women and empowering young girls. On November 29, two days before Netflix released the first teaser trailer for Harry & Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex wore a chic emerald dress by Giorgio Armani to speak with Rabbi Sandy Sasso in a moderated discussion. The knee-length number came with a twisted keyhole detail at the front and long sleeves made from a jersey fabric that she paired Suede Manolo Blahnik pumps in bright purple.

As is often the case with Markle’s style choices, the green and purple combo can be special
sartorial meaning. As initially reported by

The mother of two often uses color to send subtle messages through her clothes. Over the years, red in particular has become a power color for Markle. After retiring from her royal duties, she returned to the red carpet at the Salute to Freedom Gala in November 2021 in a Carolina Herrera gown in the vibrant hue. More recently, she wore red from head to toe again in a series of portraits with Prince Harry, taken at the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit. The Archetypes presenter wore a long-sleeved blouse with a sling over the shoulder and straight-leg pants for the photos.
