Andy then asked Meghan the “million dollar question” he “craved to know”: Is she still watching Real housewives?

“Well, I’ll tell you the truth. I stopped seeing the housewives when my life had its own drama,” said Meghan, who left the royal family with her husband Prince Harry38, and moved away from the UK. The pair notoriously sat down oprah for an in-depth interview on the issues they faced with members of the royal family.

The mother-of-two continued, “I understand why it was such a big part of pop culture and when it started because you started with Orange County and at least I’m from California. It felt remotely like a world I knew but felt so alien to me nonetheless.”

Andy jokingly brought up the rumors that Meghan would show up The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after moving to California in 2020 before laughing about it and Andy confirming she won’t be doing reality TV. But she revealed that “almost all of my friends” still watch the shows. She also applauded Andy for making the franchise “fun and familiar” and “making an empire out of it.”

Meghan was also welcomed Trevor Noah and Judd Apatow as guests on the November 29 episode of her Spotify podcast. She revealed that Harry convinced her to invite men to her show for the first time. “It occurred to me — and at my husband’s suggestion, to be honest — that if we really want to change the way we think about gender and the limiting labels that we separate people into, we need to widen the conversation,” he said she said.
