Megan Markle41 and Prince Harry38, gave viewers a glimpse of never-before-seen wedding photos from her exciting reception, in a preview of the upcoming episode of her Netflix documentations, Harry & Megan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they danced their first dance as husband and wife to Land of 1000 Dances Wilson Pickett as they reminisced about the fun night out, while unforgettable snaps flashed on screen, in the video. Meghan also explained how much it felt like a “whirlwind” at the time.
“I just wanted the music to be fun,” Meghan said in the clip, which was released on Saturday and can be seen above. “Even our first dance – ‘Song of 1000 Dances?’ A thousand… I always get things wrong. That was our first dance. It was so funny. Just spins like a whirlwind. It was great.”
The beauty continued to sing some lyrics from the tune while Harry smiled and looked at her. The photos that were shared showed the bride and groom dancing the night away in their reception outfits, including a sleeveless long white dress for Meghan and a tuxedo for Harry. Wedding guests, including the legendary Elton-JohnShe was also seen having a great time as they spent the night alongside the couple.
The preview of the second part of the docuseries comes less than a week after the release of the first three episodes. They focused on Harry and Meghan’s life before they met, as well as their first date and the impact their relationship had on those around them before and after it became public. They also gave details about Harry’s proposal and even included a photo of him on one knee. The second episode will focus more on their lives after they were hitched, including the decision to leave royal life and make a personal life in Southern California.
The docuseries has received mixed reviews since its release. In both parts of the series, the former working royals make claims about racism within the British media and the institution, and explain how it has negatively impacted their lives. They also shed light on some members of Meghan’s family, including her father Thomas Merkle and her half-siblings, who have spoken out against her in the media since she became involved with Harry.
Part 2 of Harry & Megan will air on Netflix on Thursday, December 15.
