The People’s Choice Awards on December 6th was an eventful evening for Khloe Kardashian, 38, when not only did she win the Best Reality Star award, she also had a wardrobe malfunction! “Guys we just won People’s Choice and I’m so grateful but ok my outfit broke!” The Kardashians star reveals about Instagram stories. “My outfit – the whole zipper has come undone,” Koko continued. “I’m sewn into my outfit. I had to pee. So we had to cut out the seam and sew me back in. My hair – here, right here – it’s a disaster.”
Despite the outfit snafu, Khloe told her 281 million followers that it was “OK” because she was over the moon to have won the award for the fifth straight year. “I’m so damn happy that I won People’s Choice for the fifth year in a row and stuff [The] Kardashians won,” said the 38-year-old from the back seat of her car. Khloe also apologized for being late on stage as she struggled with the broken zipper. “I’m sorry I was late on stage and thank god my mom tried to be a buffer,” she previously gushed Kris Jenner67, chimed in: “Congratulations Koko, best reality star 2022!”
Earlier in the evening, Khloe and her mother accepted the award for Best Reality Show and shared an adorable moment on stage. “Well, Khloe sat next to it a second ago,” Kris told the audience. “Oh, here she comes!” When the mother-of-two made it onto the stage, she explained why she was a little late. “I’m so sorry I’m out of breath,” Khloe explained. “I was trying to fix my hair, oh my god, a girl needs to fix her hair.” Of course, the blonde bombshell then thanked everyone who voted for her and her family. “Thank you so much for everyone who voted for me, for our family,” she said, before telling Kris, “I’m sure most of it was you.”
For the 2022 PCAs, the Good American founder rocked a backless black pantsuit by Jean Paul Gaultier with platform boots. Koko chose to wear her golden blonde tresses in sleek Hollywood curls and accessorized with gold hoop earrings. Remarkably, her ensemble also consisted of black gloves that almost covered her entire arm. She also shared a carousel from photos from the evening via Instagram. “Screaming thank you for winning @peopleschoice 5 years in a row!! Every year it gets more and more special! Really, thanks!” read her caption. “That means a lot to me. Also, a big thank you for voting and winning our TV show! What an honor and blessing! #thekardashians love you guys.”
Kris also looked as stylish as ever in a black pantsuit that matched her daughter’s color scheme that night. The 67-year-old rocked a black blazer complete with tulle, black trousers and black gloves. The mother wore a custom made Alexander McQueen dress and sent it to her too Instagram tonight. “We won!!! What an incredible night at the People’s Choice Awards!!! Thank you all for voting for us to win Best Reality Show and for @khloekardashian for Best Becoming Reality Star of the Year!” Kris captioned the post. “It means so much to us because it’s you who vote for the winners!”
