Let’s go Rangers! Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson had a fun date night at Madison Square Garden on Monday, December 5th to watch the New York Rangers take on the St. Louis Blues Saturday night live and her pregnancy announcement, the pair looked like they were having a blast at the hockey game.
The 29-year-old actress kept things low-key for the game. She wore a light green hoodie pulled over her head and had some straight hair sticking out. She also rocked square glasses and carried a bag on her lap. Her boyfriend wore a brown leather jacket that said “Real Ohio Player” and a black beanie.
With Rangers winning 6-4, it was clear the pair were having a great time. Darius shared some videos from the game on his Instagram History, including fans singing Rangers’ signature song when the team scores. “You rise after a goal,” he wrote.
The couple attended the hockey game just days after Keke announced during her monologue that she is expecting her first child SNL. She playfully shared the exciting news by discussing rumors that she was having a baby. “People in my comments say Keke is having a baby, Keke is pregnant. And I want to set the record straight… I AM!” she said before tearing open her jacket to reveal her baby bump.
After the show aired, Keke took it on Instagram talking about what an amazing experience it was and thinking about how happy she was to announce her pregnancy on the comedy show Inside Her post. “How cool, my baby and I are already doing all this together,” she wrote before thanking her warmly and finally leading to Darius. “Thanks to my other half [Darius] for giving me the things that only true unity can bring. Love is all we have, isn’t it, you don’t do anything in this world alone and trust me I’m not alone! Very grateful.”
While it’s not exactly clear how long Darius and Keke have been together, the couple became Instagram Official in August 2021 when Darius opened up about how much he loves the actress. “I’m glad we were able to help each other out at our lowest times and show each other that what we bring to the table is all we have,” he wrote.
