Jason Momoa and John Cena share the screen in a new movie. Both actors were cast in an action comedy film called Killer Vacation diversity. Killer Vacation is being written by Mark and Brian Gunn, who also wrote the screenplays for Dwayne Johnson’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and Brightburn. Specific details about the plot remain under wraps, but we know it will be a mix of action and comedy, and sources told Variety that Cena and Momoa were inspired to work together after discovering their “natural chemistry” on the set of the finale had Fast & Furious movies. Representatives from both actors did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
Momoa and Cena last worked together on the upcoming penultimate film in the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X. Momoa will play a villain in the film, whom he described as a “very flamboyant bad boy” in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. In 2023, Momoa will also appear in the second part of Aquaman called Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Meanwhile, Cena recently starred in HBO Max’s Peacemaker series, based on his character in 2021’s The Suicide Squad. Momoa made an uncredited cameo in “Peacemaker.” TVLinewho appears as Aquaman along with several other DC Super Heroes.
