Henry Cavill as Superman is arguably one of the most popular superhero characters we’ve seen.
Recently, the British actor donned his Kryptonian suit for a cameo scene Black Adam after almost five years. Cavill’s return to the franchise was a long time coming. And now that he’s returned, fans are excited to see what the future holds for the son of Krypton. However, we don’t have any updates yet. With the future of Cavill’s Superman uncertain, industry insider Matt Ramos recently dropped some hints about it.

Throwback to DC’s announcement that they are looking for a new Superman on Henry Cavill’s birthday
As we all know, Henry Cavill recently announced that he would not be reprising his role as Geralt of Rivia in the sci-fi series The Witcher. The message was bittersweet. On the one hand he announced his departure from a very popular show and on the other hand Cavill celebrated his long-awaited comeback as Superman.
Recently, however, insider Matt Ramos made some shocking statements. Ramos revealed Cavill had left The Witcher and returned as Superman and could be dropped now. He reminded fans when DC announced their search for a new Superman on Cavill’s birthday.

Following that ramos wrote another tweet talking about what the future of Cavill’s Superman looks like. ramos spoke, “We don’t really know what’s going to happen in the future, though things don’t look good.”

Shortly after Ramos’ tweets, some fans went all out and called the industry insider about spreading fake news. Some even argued that Cavill was leaving The Witcher had no connection to his return as Superman.

Of late, we’ve had no confirmation as to what the future holds for the Man of Steel. Recently, rumors also circulated that DC would secure a backup plan should Cavill not be able to take on the Superman mantle.
