Kanye West blames his former business partner for his fortune loss. The rapper has been surrounded by controversy, largely due to his social media presence. Although the artist has always been open about his views, his partnership with several fashion brands such as Adidas ended after his persistent anti-Semitic remarks. No doubt his name made him and the company millions for about a decade.
However, the entrepreneur-turned-billionaire lost part of his fortune and more after parting ways not only with Adidas but also with Balenciaga and GAP. In addition, the 2024 presidential candidate claimed that his bank accounts would be frozen. Now he blames Adidas and gives the reason for it.

Did Adidas Help Freeze Kanye West’s Bank Accounts? That’s what the creative designer says now. Her invited a cameraman to his studio in Crenshaw and said: “If the FCC was looking at my money, there’s a chance Adidas wouldn’t have gotten into JP Morgan Chase and frozen my account…and put $75 million in four different accounts.” He also added how he went from being a multi-billionaire to not being able to use his Apple Pay anymore.
Adidas, who were reviewing their relationship with the Gold Digger singer, issued a statement ahead of the split, which read: “Adidas will discontinue the Adidas Yeezy business effective immediately.” The German company could not risk continuing relations after its anti-Semitic attack. The rapper, who lost his 2020 election, says he ran again in 2024 to have the FCC review his money and actually help him with the frozen accounts.

Meanwhile, he’s also focusing on his Donda Academy, which was shut down after his risqué comments. The singer, who is known for spending big bucks, has been suffering from losing a significant sum of money in a short span of time but has continued to speak out.
