Ginny and Georgia season 2 release date has been confirmed for January 2023 on Netflix +2023

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Netflix has announced the official release date for Ginny and Georgia Season 2! But that’s not all. The streamer also shared some first look pictures and a scene from the new season. We’ve shared all the important details below.

Coiled after production Ginny and Georgia Season 2 in April 2022, we had been patiently waiting for Netflix to announce the release date. Obviously we were aware that the new episodes had to go through post-production to be edited before we could see them. But we didn’t think it would take that long.

We thought post-production would take about six to eight months and then we’ll see Ginny and Georgia back on our screens. But unfortunately that was not the case. However, it looks like Season 2 has been ready to watch, and Netflix just decided to hold it until early 2023. Our reason for saying this is because of a last investor call with Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos. During the call, Sarandos listed various shows that would be coming out in the last quarter of 2022 and one of the ones he listed was Netflix Originals Ginny and Georgia. This means that season two was either fully completed in post-production or in its final stages.

While we would have loved to end the year with a brand new season of the teen series, a January 2023 release isn’t bad.
