Kirstie Alley was best known as a successful and influential actress until her death at the age of 71 on December 5, 2022, but she was also a doting mother of two. They are the ones who announced that she died in a warm tweet on Kirstie’s officials Twitter Side.

“To all our friends far and wide around the world… We are saddened to announce that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer that was only recently discovered,” the statement read by William and Lillie. “She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great vigour, leaving us reassured of her never-ending zest for life and all the adventures ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”

William is the eldest child of Kirstie and her ex-husband Parker Stevenson, to whom she was married from 1983 to 1997. He was adopted by the former couple a week after his birth in October 1992. Though William tends to keep his life fairly private, he reportedly found love early and married his high school sweetheart at age 17 with Kirstie’s blessing. He went on to have a son named Waylon Trip Parker in 2016 and Kirstie was quick to brag about him, in one Twitter post shortly after his birth.

“If your son has a son…bliss…yes that’s my secret happy news as promised…Welcome Waylon Tripp Parker,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which featured a cute black and white photo of William with his newborn contained.

Kirstie and Parker adopted Lillie in 1995. Like William, she tends to keep her life fairly private, but a tragic incident in her love life made headlines in 2014 when her fiancé, Nick Trela died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 23. Just an actor Jesse Tyler Fergusons husband, Justin MichitaHe was the one who accidentally hit Nick while he was driving his car in the Los Angeles, California area. The Los Angeles City Attorney determined that Nick was partially at fault for speeding and therefore Justin would not be charged with involuntary manslaughter. TMZ reported. Nick’s family went ahead anyway and sued Justin.

“This is a terrible tragedy. I want to respect the family and the process, so I will not go into details of the accident or the complaint at this time,” Justin reportedly said at the time. After the accident, the then 20-year-old Lillie Reportedly took it really hard and hid on Kirstie’s premises in Clearwater, FL. Nick had apparently been working at Scientology’s own Delphian School in rural Oregon at the time of his death. Lillie is a Scientologist, like her mother, and reportedly had been dating Nick since they were 16.
