Washed denim eyes are a hot new winter makeup trend, and Dua Lipa is already a fan. On Nov. 30, the “Sweetest Pie” singer attended the 36th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City participated and sported her own version of the eye makeup look that deserves to be on your inspiration board.
Because the unfamiliar washed denim eye makeup stems from the “denim revolution” we see in fashion when cat QuinnManager of trends for MAC cosmetics, previously told POPSUGAR. The makeup trend sees different shades of blue shadows swept across the eyes for a look that’s impactful but still neutral in a way. Lipa chose to match her washed denim eyes with a smoky, silver shade of blue to match her long blue patent leather coat. Heavy mascara and a touch of glitter finished off her eye look, while her lips were coated in a coral red lipstick and her skin had a glowing matte finish. To let her eye makeup really shine, her hair has been pulled back into a sleek triple braided ponytail.
