A royal source says neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace (or any member of the royal family) have been asked to comment on the content of the series.

An inside source mentioned that Kensington Palace was approached by a third party. The Royal Staff attempted to connect with Archewell Production and the streamer Confirm the legitimacy of the email. However, they received no response and therefore no comments were made.
Meanwhile, Netflix rejected the statements of the royal sources. The Netflix insiders revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as King Charles and Queen Consort, have been contacted for comment. They are allow sufficient time to reply, but the royal members decided against it.
