If there is one thing friends star Courtney Cox, 58, will do it, it’s a joke about eating pizza! And that’s exactly what she did on December 7th by sharing a video how to eat a slice like a “real” New Yorker. “A lot of people who aren’t from New York come into town and they can’t wait to eat New York style pizza and they don’t know how to eat it,” the actress explained. “So first you blot it, you get all the oil off,” Courteney added. “Then authentic New Yorkers like to cut off the tip and just take a small bite at a time.”

After taking a delicious bite, the 58-year-old added if you’re from “Sicily or whatever,” “roll it like a ‘pizza pie.'” The homecourt founder then asked a local nearby confirming she was right. “You do it like this, right?” Courteney asked, to which they replied “Yes.” The Emmy nominee later explained that if you want “double cheese,” you disassemble the disc. “Sometimes when people crave double cheese, they shove all the cheese into one area,” she jokingly said.

The seemingly sarcastic video was made even funnier when Courteney offered the stranger her torn disc. “Do you want this role?” she asked, which they gladly accepted. The brunette beauty then joked that only some people know “this is another way they sell it” while taking a massive bite. Finally, the star explained that if you can eat it in “three bites, then you’re a real New Yorker.”

Of course, many of her 12.2 million Instagram followers took advantage of the comments to share their reaction to her video. “Joey would go crazy,” one fan wrote, referring to her character’s boyfriend from her hit series. Another fan couldn’t help but write about how serious the actress looked in the clip. “The problem is, Courtney is so good at straight-faced comedy that I have no idea if this video is tongue-in-cheek or real,” they commented. “I’ve always wanted to go to New York, but I’ve never been.” And a third fan said what we all think. “As a New Yorker it pained me to see this even though I know you’re 1000% joking – at the same time I want pizza now,” they wrote.

That Cougar Town The star’s video comes just a week after her surprise friends Fans on the set of Warner Brothers Studios on November 30th. “I work at Warner Brothers and I thought this was a good time to surprise some friends Fans and photobomb their shots,” she said in her Instagram video. As fans snapped photos on the iconic orange sofa from the show, the mother-of-one appeared from behind the couch to surprise her fans. “Don’t you have a photo bomber? #friends,” she captioned the post.
